OFFICIAL PANEL IDENTIFICATION GUIDE
How to Identify Your Raised Access Floor Panel System with DCFT’s Identification Services:
Step 1:
Confirm Panel Size
Using a tape measurer, measure the top of the panel from side to side. Confirm panel is US standard 24”x24”.
Step 2:
Panel Top
Take a picture of the top of the panel after it has been removed from the grid. Capture any patterns and color clearly.
Step 3:
Underside of Panel
Take a photo of the entire bottom of the panel from a short distance, ensuring the full panel is visible in the frame.
Step 4:
Corner Shot Bottom
Flip the panel upside down and capture a detailed close-up photo of the corner, focusing on the corner area.
Step 5:
Panel Identification Marks
Search the top, bottom, and side of the panel for any printed or imprinted panel identification marks and date stamps.
Step 6:
HPL & Panel Thickness
Please specify the overall thickness of the panel and high-pressure laminate sheet (HPL), which can be either 1/16” or 1/8”.
Step 7:
Understructure Identification
Capture an image of the grid, including the pedestals and stringers, supporting the panels. If no grid is present, please provide a photo of the pedestal head with the panels removed.
Step 8:
Finished Floor Height
To determine finished floor height, measure from the concrete slab or sub floor to the top of the floor panel. Include the HPL, bare or carpeted surface layer in your measurement.
