ASM Q2C Low Profile Raised Access Floor System

Low-Profile Raised Access Floor System Information

The ASM Q2C is a low-profile modular floor system designed for use in Type I (Fire-Resistive) & Type II (Non-Combustible) Buildings as required by the International Building Code, primarily for office buildings and light commercial applications that need accessible power and data pathways without the height of a conventional raised floor.

Available in 1.58-inch (40 mm) and 2.76-inch (70 mm) configurations, Q2C arrives prefabricated and uses heavy-duty quick-connect steel plates without adhesives, underlayment, or permanent fasteners. This simplifies installation while preserving access to cabling as workspace layouts and technology requirements change.

  • Height of System – 1.58″ (40 MM) & 2.76″ (70MM)

ASM Q2C / PowerTraXX Low-Profile System Overview

See how the ASM Q2C / PowerTraXX low-profile system provides accessible cable management while minimizing floor height in offices and other spaces with limited vertical clearance.

The ASM Q2C system is designed for spaces that need accessible underfloor cable management but have limited floor-to-ceiling height. Its shallow 40 mm and 70 mm configurations make it particularly suited to offices, renovations, and light commercial environments where a conventional raised floor may require more elevation than the project allows.

The modular design provides access to power and data pathways beneath the finished floor while allowing cable layouts to be modified as workspaces and technology requirements change. For projects that need greater underfloor depth or different structural configurations, see our guide to raised access floor systems.

The ASM Q2C Low-Profile Raised Access Floor System provides an accessible underfloor pathway for power, data, and communications cabling while adding only 1.58 inches (40 mm) or 2.76 inches (70 mm) of floor height.

Designed primarily for office buildings and light commercial applications, Q2C uses prefabricated components and heavy-duty quick-connect steel plates to create a modular floor without adhesives, underlayment, or permanent fasteners. This lets you access individual floor sections when you need to install, reroute, or change cabling.

The system is compatible with standard carpet tile finishes, making it well-suited to offices and other interior spaces that need accessible cable management but don’t want the added height of a conventional raised floor.

For a broader explanation of where shallow systems are appropriate and how they differ from conventional access flooring, see our guide to low-profile raised floor systems.
