Subfloor Preparation
Floor must be clean, smooth, dry and free of any foreign matter that would interfere with a good bond. If concrete has been sealed, spot check to determine if sealer should be scuffed before attaching pedestal. Pedestals should also be free of oily residue. For best results, the area to be installed, adhesive and pedestals should be conditioned at 70°F (21°F) with a minimum relative humidity of 65% for at lease 24 hours before and after installation. Moisture Test – All concrete floors should be tested for moisture emission rate by utilizing anhydrous calcium chloride moisture test kit. (Available from installation supplies and accessories dealers.) Follow kit manufacturer’s instructions precisely to determine moisture emissions.
Shelf Life
- Maximum of 1 year from date of manufacture in unopened pail.
Limitations
- For interior use only.
- Not for use in the presence of moisture or high alkalinity (pH greater than 9).
- Protect from freezing. Adhesive is freeze/thaw stable 5 cycles at 10°F. Prolonged low temperatures or multiple freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided.
- Keep container sealed when not in use.
- Complies with swinging bag test
- Do not use when the substrate temperature is below 40°F (4.4°C) or above 100°F (38°C).
- Always store in an upright position.
