DCFT Introduces Ceiling Fan Assembly Vent System for Efficient IT Space Cooling

Roswell, GA – DCFT (Data Center Floor Tiles), a leading provider of innovative solutions for data center airflow and infrastructure, has introduced its new Ceiling Fan Assembly Vent System, designed to help remove heat from enclosed IT rooms and equipment closets. This exhaust fan system offers a simple, energy-efficient, and cost-effective alternative to traditional ventilation methods.

Exhausting hot air from compact IT environments is a well-known challenge. Many organizations believe they need complex and expensive ventilation systems to solve the issue. However, this solution offers a more straightforward approach that is easy to implement and highly effective.

The Ceiling Fan Assembly fits into a standard 2’x2’ ceiling grid and features nine industrial-grade 120mm DC fans, capable of moving up to 575 CFM of air. The system includes two independent temperature controllers—the first activates one set of fans at 80°F, and the second engages the remaining fans at 88°F (±4°). This staged automation ensures the fans operate only when needed, conserving energy and extending system life.

The fan speed is adjustable, allowing users to minimize noise where needed. For more advanced control, optional temperature controllers (sold separately) can provide variable fan speeds and customizable on/off temperature thresholds. The system also supports optional ducting with a compatible duct box.

Installation is quick and easy, requiring no special tools or professional services. The unit plugs into a standard wall outlet, eliminating the need for costly electrical work. The product is typically in stock and available for same-day shipping.
